Trench Map : Thiepval Wood : A hand drawn map produced before 1 July, 1916
Thiepval is one of the best-known places on the old Western Front, visited by thousands every year. The map retains hand-written notes and the Royal Engineers depots are all prominently marked. A particularly interesting comment in blue pencil says ‘2. Packmules Routes Important if troops reach objective’. The map runs from Thiepval Wood in the north, through Authuille to Crucifix Corner and Aveluy.
P&p for trench-map only orders sent to addresses in the UK costs £0.50p, £1.50 to Europe and £2.00 for Rest of World addresses. Our standard postage rates will apply for combined orders of books and trench maps.
