The Family Historian's Enquire Within

A standard reference for family historians. It gives clear and concise information to point them in the right direction. Arranged alphabetically, it contains more than one thousand entries that will give sources, explanations, definitions, dates, addresses, bibliographies, maps and useful websites.
Dr Janet Few is in her fourth decade of local and family history research. She was the critical reader and family history advisor to the Open University for the course 'Family and Community History' and went on to tutor the course. Janet maintains her own one place studies for the North Devon villages of Buckland Brewer, Bucks Mills and Bulkworthy but claims she is not working her way through the alphabet! She is Vice-Chair of the Society for One-Place Studies and lectures regularly on One-Place research.
